Job Title: Regional Account Manager
Department: Sales
Reports to: COO/EVP
Location: Atlanta / Jacksonville
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Achieve quarterly sales and operational metrics for assigned territory
- Serve as a liaison between manufacturers and Railroads
- Manage multiple accounts
- Manage the pipeline of all commodity movement activities
- Submit proposal packages to the customer
- Provide marketing intelligence for current sales and future growth
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationship to understand and anticipate their needs
- Manage existing accounts, meeting/exceeding key order and revenue metrics
- Provide weekly sales updates, including tracking of all opportunities
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- Support post-sales activities including product delivery, customer follow-up, and A/R collection
- Build long-term relationships with key customers
- Prepare presentations for sales meetings
- Follow-up on leads and prospect new business
- Collect and maintain accurate contact information and customer records
- Learn and utilize technology to support the sales process (e.g. CRM)
- Remain up to date with all emails, making sure to respond promptly and following up regularly
- Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner
- Participate in team conference calls, sales meetings, and trainings

- Must live within territory boundaries
- Prior selling experience preferred
- Prior experience working with Railroads
