Job Title: Regional Account Manager
Department: Sales
Reports to: COO/EVP
Location: Atlanta / Jacksonville

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Achieve quarterly sales and operational metrics for assigned territory
  • Serve as a liaison between manufacturers and Railroads
  • Manage multiple accounts
  • Manage the pipeline of all commodity movement activities
  • Submit proposal packages to the customer
  • Provide marketing intelligence for current sales and future growth
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationship to understand and anticipate their needs
  • Manage existing accounts, meeting/exceeding key order and revenue metrics
  • Provide weekly sales updates, including tracking of all opportunities
  • Travel to customer sites as needed
  • Support post-sales activities including product delivery, customer follow-up, and A/R collection
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers
  • Prepare presentations for sales meetings
  • Follow-up on leads and prospect new business
  • Collect and maintain accurate contact information and customer records
  • Learn and utilize technology to support the sales process (e.g. CRM)
  • Remain up to date with all emails, making sure to respond promptly and following up regularly
  • Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Participate in team conference calls, sales meetings, and trainings

  • Prior experience working with Railroads
